Ray Cherry, DDS

Dr. Ray Cherry was born and raised in Idaho Falls. He graduated from the University of Iowa with honors in 2008 and completed a one-year General Practice Residency in Kansas City, Missouri. Dr. Ray and his family moved into the valley in July of 2010, and they love being in the outdoors. He enjoys participating in and watching sporting events, and he endeavors to lead an active lifestyle. Having practiced here at Grand Teton Dental Care for over 10 years, Dr. Ray is committed to providing the utmost care for his patients while striving to build relationships with them that last a lifetime.

Roxie — Practice Manager

Roxie is a Teton Valley native, born and raised under the heart of the Tetons. She graduated from Teton High School and moved to Georgia, where she met and married the love of her life, Beau. Roxie and her husband, Beau, share four awesome humans: Hunter, Austin, Gunner and Alyssa. Roxie is excited to be back home and serving the fantastic community of Teton Valley.

Mavanee — Front Office Coordinator

Mavanee grew up in the Bay area in California but has lived with her husband and six children in Colorado for the last 36 years. She recently relocated back to her roots in Teton Valley, where her parents and grandparents were born and raised. Mavanee has practiced as a registered dental assistant in California and Colorado. After raising her beautiful family, she has dedicated her skills to front office administration roles since 2010. Mavanee and her husband live under the shadow of the Grand in Tetonia, Idaho, where she now enjoys spending quality time with her children and 16 grandchildren.

Cheyann — Dental Hygienist

Cheyann attended Carrington College and graduated from the dental hygiene program in March of 2021. She joined the team at Grand Teton Dental Care in May of 2022. Cheyann started her dental career as a dental assistant in 2017 and loved having a career in dentistry, so she decided to pursue dental hygiene. She enjoys coming to work each day and educating her patients about oral hygiene. In her free time, she enjoys going riding at the sand dunes, camping, golfing and spending time with family.

Jess — Dental Hygienist

Jess is an Idaho native and was born and raised in the small farming community of New Plymouth on the West side of the state. After high school, college at Idaho State University brought her to the area and she graduated in 2015 with a Bachelor of Science in dental hygiene. After meeting her husband, Steven, she decided that Eastern Idaho had many things to offer for her outdoor hobbies and now calls Idaho Falls her home. When Jess is not in the office, you can often find her in the CrossFit gym, hunting in the mountains, fly fishing, mountain biking or snowboarding. Jess is a proud dog mom to two boys, Brewer and Ruck, who are spoiled rotten!

Jill — Dental Hygienist

Jill grew up in Teton Valley. After high school, she attended Idaho State University, where she graduated with her Bachelor of Science in dental hygiene in 2012. She holds both an Idaho and Wyoming dental hygiene license. She and her husband, Jeff, live in Tetonia. Jill enjoys being outdoors, whether it be cross country skiing in the winter or paddleboarding in the summer. She feels so lucky to be back working in the valley and seeing familiar faces at Grand Teton Dental Care.

Shelley — Dental Hygienist

Shelley was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, but happily traded the city life to move to Teton Valley with her husband and three children. They, along with countless animals, have called Victor home for the past 10 years. Shelley graduated summa cum laude from Weber State University with a Bachelor of Science in dental hygiene. She has practiced for 17 years in Utah and Idaho. She enjoys educating others on how to make their smiles last a lifetime and serving those in her community. Shelley loves working as a hygienist at Grand Teton Dental Care, because she is able to see others’ self-confidence improve as we create and maintain beautiful smiles. She spends most of her free time cheering for her children and Teton at their many sporting events. She also enjoys travelling and anything outdoors, especially snowshoeing and golf.

Cassi — Dental Assistant

Cassi has lived in Teton Valley most of her life, with parents and grandparents that were born and raised here. She graduated from Teton High School in 2011, then moved to Pocatello and played Rugby then Cheered at ISU. She moved back to the Rexburg area in 2014 where she reconnected with her high school sweetheart Jeff. They have been married since 2016 and have two little boys, Spencer and Stetson. On her days off she enjoys spending time with her boys. Cassi worked as a dental assistant for four years in Rexburg before moving back to Teton Valley in 2019. She’s been with us at Grand Teton Dental Care since. She is certified with expanded functions in dental assisting, makes custom mouth guards and does our in-house bleaching.

Reagan — Dental Assistant

Reagan grew up in Teton Valley, where she tries to be involved in her community as much as she can. Reagan is the Teton Valley Rodeo Queen, meaning she carries the American flag in the grand entry, runs cows and helps kids in the calf scramble. Her main goal is to be a good influence for the younger princesses. Reagan referees lacrosse in the spring and fall, and she gets to travel to places like Pocatello and Jackson to make these games happen. Her dreams are to be a yoga instructor and floral shop owner, all while selling her own art.

Vanessa — Dental Assistant

Vanessa grew up nestled in the Tetons of Jackson Hole, Wyoming, where she graduated from Jackson Hole High School and furthered her education portfolio with a degree in business finance from the University of Wyoming. Vanessa began her path working in the medical and dental fields starting in 2012, and found her niche. Vanessa became part of the Grand Teton Dental Care team in 2021. Outside of work she enjoys skiing, fishing, outdoor recreation and her dog, Cooper. Vanessa and her boyfriend, Mathieu, have a home in Victor where they get to enjoy all the valley has to offer.
